Training Facilities
Thomas-Faraday Training centre in Limassol, Cyprus, occupies over 600 square metres of offices, classrooms and practical training facility. The training centre has been carefully designed to offer flexibility and technologically-advanced learning environment that is safe, comfortable, aesthetically-pleasing and accessible.
Two large-size classrooms designed for lecture-style instruction and training. Depending on the seating arrangements, the classrooms can accommodate up to 54 candidates. The classrooms are equipped with audio/visual training equipment, computer workstations and internet access for various ‘online' examinations.
On the other hand, the practical training facility is equipped with a wide range of ‘real' industrial electrical equipment, recreating lifelike work environments. Competency-based electrical training supported by practical ‘hands-on' training offer candidates the opportunity to experience high quality learning in safe environment.
The High Voltage facility is divided into two power systems, the "Land-based system and the "Marine/Offshore-based system. Each area is equipped with a variety of equipment of different makes/types including 11kV circuit breakers (oil/gas/air/vacuum), 11kV ring main units, 6.6kV vacuum contactors, transformers, etc.
The Low Voltage facility, provides a range of other electrical training equipment applicable for electrical installations in domestic, commercial and light industrial buildings. Various types and makes of electrical testing equipment are used to provide hands-on training, such as

insulation resistance testers,
- earth fault loop impedance testers,
- RCD's,
- PAT testers
- and various purpose-designed inspection and testing exercise boards
