Introduction
The course is designed to enable those who are required to carry out testing on high voltage equipment to become authorised to receive sanction for test documents relating to safe practices and legislation within high voltage and electrical safety industry.
Participants
Personnel with prior knowledge of the inspection, operation, maintenance and repair of high voltage electrical power systems, who are to be responsible, as an authorised/senior authorised person, for electrically testing systems following the receipt of sanction for test documents.
Aim
To provide candidates with the skill level required to enable them to be authorised to receive sanction for test documents. It is not intended to train then in various types of testing, e,g, primary/secondary injection, pressure testing, etc.
