Electrical Pressure Testing (T1)

Introduction

The T1 course covers theoretical and practical training of the principles of electrical pressure testing of HV distribution systems including the different insulating materials characteristics as well as the methods used to test electrical pressure of high voltage equipment, including cables, switchgear, transformers and motors with emphasis on safety requirements and interpretation of test results.

Participants

Electrical engineers/technicians responsible for carrying out high voltage pressure testing or with a responsibility for supervising personnel who carry out high voltage pressure testing

Aim

To cover the theoretical and practical aspects of electrically testing the insulation of power cables, switchgear, transformers, motors etc

Outline Contents
