Join The Faraday Training Centre30/08/2017
Would you like to join a growing team at a leading international training facility? If you have the experience to teach electrical engineering and are looking for a career change – The Faraday Training Centre is recruiting!
We are hiring three Electrical Engineering Lecturers, in both full-time and part-time roles, to deliver onsite training at our Teesside-based facility and offsite at clients’ premises. Therefore the roles includes frequent travel both in the UK and overseas.
The Lecturers will be required to deliver electrical training and assessments across a range of high voltage courses using teaching methods and materials as appropriate, undertake preparation and marking of candidates’ assessment reports, provide feedback and guidance to support candidates’ learning, as well as additional responsibilities.
The recruitment drive follows a period of rapid growth for the Faraday Training Centre as this year we have already appointed several new lecturers, in line with our growing course range. This includes our recently launched: Wind Farm HV Cable Termination course; Hybrid Electrical Safety Awareness course; an Up-Skilling course; three new EAL low voltage courses; and a Refresher in the Safe Operation of Offshore/Maritime High Voltage Power Systems course.
To accommodate the expansion of our course offering, and recruitment drive, we will be relocating to a purpose-designed training centre at the Wilton Centre, Redcar as of September 2017. The move, which is one of the Wilton Centre’s largest lettings for a decade, will see us merge our two training centres and will almost double our existing training and office space to 4000m.
If you are interested in applying for one of these roles, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with your CV and a cover letter, alternatively you can email us to receive a copy of the job description.
