EAL 3298 – 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
This award gives the learner an understanding of the IET Wiring Regulations 18th Edition. It provides a facility for individuals working in the electrotechnical sector to develop and/or enhance their knowledge of the Requirements for Electrical Installations. The qualification covers the full content of BS 7671 IET Wiring Regulations, 18th Edition. The regulations apply to the design, erection and verifications of electrical installations including additions and alterations to existing installations.

EAL 4340 – Portable Appliance Testing (PAT Testing)
This award gives an understanding of the theory and practice of the in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment; commonly referred to as PAT testing (Portable Appliance Testing). During the course, a number of practical exercises are undertaken using a range of portable appliance testing equipment. It will give delegates theoretical and practical experience in the implementation of a formal inspection and testing regime for electrical equipment (portable appliances).

EAL 2625 (EAL 4337/4338) – Periodic Inspection and Testing
These awards give the delegate an understanding of the theory and practice involved with the initial verification. This also includes the commissioning, the periodic inspection, testing and condition reporting of both single and three phase electrical installations. These awards follow BS7671 and the industry recognised IET Guidance Note 3.
